Veleuro is among Lloyd’s last known electronic light sculptures. It is also one of his largest and most elaborate—the work contains nearly eight hundred Christmas light bulbs and four modular Vs that can be exhibited in various formations. It was created during his time in the Studio Museum in Harlem’s Studio Program—one of the Museum’s founding initiatives.
